here the kids are helping dad move the wood pile. probly took longer with the kids but they were sure proud of themselves when they were done!

tonight we ate supper outside, it was so calm compared to the last few days when it was crazy windy. we had fish on the bbq and stuffed mushrooms and oven fried potatoes. yum!!!

so we were busy outside mowing the lawn and weedeating and stuff and then we look over and jayda has fallen asleep in the 'car'. quite helarious!!

jayda caught a beautiful butterfly. i think iris say it but then tells jayda to get it cause she's too chicken. so jayda got to hold the butterfly much to iris' dismay! quite a few tears poured out over this one.

been a while

gerry took the girls last sat for most of the day. took them for lunch and everything and then came home with each a new bike. well, dad was the favorite that day. iris is kind of getting it. just need to practice with her.

so gerry picked up this lost kitten in athabasca the other day and now it has become our newest pet. yay now we have to cats. can you hear the enthusiasm! the girls are completely obbsessed with the kitten. iris was up until 10 tonight because she heard it meowing..........for its new family..........it speaks spanish to her........it goes in the buggy and the car and the show rack and many other places......it is kinda cute though.
